A founder-led brand concept built around risk, identity and commitment — translated into a cohesive visual and cultural system.

Co-Founded Tattoo Studio, Brand System & Visual Expression Sink or Swim was a co-founded tattoo studio concept built around the philosophy of total commitment — a “win or lose” mindset rooted in personal transformation. I led the brand development, visual identity system and overall expression strategy from inception to launch. The name encapsulates the high-risk, high-commitment nature of both entrepreneurship and tattoo culture. Conceptually, it embeds the word “ink”, reinforcing the core medium of the craft while maintaining a bold, memorable statement.

The identity system was designed to feel bold and confrontational, yet clean enough to scale across merchandise, social media and physical space branding. The studio operated successfully during its initial launch phase, generating strong local traction and brand recognition. Although the partnership concluded due to strategic differences, the project stands as a formative entrepreneurial experience in building, nurturing and leading a brand from zero.
